Worship Leader

I'm Darrell, a worship leader and full-time musician from Northern Michigan.  I have been called to lead His congregation in song, and would love to share that with your church.  I am firmly grounded in the Word, and my testimony and musical selections are a testament to that. I have eight years experience at my home church (Kalkaska Church of Christ), where I continue lead weekly. 

 

Just as Jesus traveled in His teaching, I feel called out of my comfort zone to offer other churches a break for their worship leader and a week of fresh perspective. Selfishly, I am able to ask a fee to assist with travel and lodging, facilitating my musical mission. Whenever I'm away on business I try to find an opportunity to share with another congregation.

"...So, what are you doing in town?"

I make my living as a full-time musician in the 'world' by playing bars, restaurants, taverns, farmer's markets, festivals, and corporate or private events.  Like any Christian business owner, I strive to be a reflection of Christ in all my interactions (sometimes I get funny looks when I say I'm a full-time musician AND a Christian.  They are not mutually exclusive! Ha!).  The 'secular world' may have brought be to town, but I wouldn't want to miss a chance to sing His praises!
